Private Lessons

Private lessons are relaxed and fun! Plus each lesson is designed specifically for you. I provide tabs for all songs and exercises. You are free to record lessons and I provide CD's for most everything covered. If you are a more advanced player and want a lesson just once  in a while - that can work too. Cost is $30 for weekly one hour lessons.

Guitar lessons are acoustic with a fingerstyle approach. I like blues, rags and folk music. Sorry, I don't play electric rock guitar. But I do play blues on a 3-string cigar box guitar through a Pignose amp!

Banjo lessons are 3-finger picking in Standard G tuning, Gm, C tuning, and Double C tuning.

As you can see from the photos below we have a nice relaxed environment to study music together.
